Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

The Service

Hichki provides tools to plan and run weddings and events — including managing guest lists, RSVPs, accommodation and travel, vendors, budget, digital invitations, and guest messaging. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You are responsible for the people you invite into your workspace and the access you grant them.

Your content and guest data

• You retain ownership of the content and data you add to the Service (“Your Content”), including guest lists and uploaded documents.
• You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
• You are responsible for having the right and any necessary consent to add other people’s personal data — including contact details and identity or travel documents such as Aadhaar — and to send them messages through the Service. Only collect and upload what you genuinely need.
• Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, unlawful, harassing, or misleading messages, or to message people without a lawful basis.
• Upload content that infringes others' rights or violates any law.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or other users' data.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or resell it without our written permission.

You are responsible for complying with the rules of any third-party channels you use through the Service, including WhatsApp’s and messaging providers’ policies on business messaging and consent.

Fees

Some features may be offered free of charge, as part of a pilot or beta, or under a paid plan. Pricing and plan details may change; where a plan is paid, the applicable fees and terms will be made clear before you are charged. Taxes apply as required by law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the Hichki name and logo, belongs to Hichki and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example hosting, database, and messaging providers). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services, and their use may be subject to their own terms.

Beta features & availability

Parts of the Service may be provided on a beta or evolving basis and can contain errors. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may perform maintenance or make changes from time to time.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying important details — such as guest counts, travel times, and vendor arrangements — before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hichki will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a reasonable nominal amount).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
